Prove that you’re mature enough i.e. do your school work/chores without complaint; don’t whine, make a realistic plan about where you’d stay, how you’d get there. Perhaps plan to go with older friends/siblings or even your parents as twelve could be considered a little young to go to a concert, even one of his. Tell them that JB is less annoying now because his voice has finally cracked (sorry, couldn’t resist) so they could probably stand a concert of his. Asking that going to this concert be your birthday present or something along those lines could also work.

BE VERY RESPECTIVE Sit down and talk to your parents tell them how much it means to you and tell them you will do what ever they want you to do for a whole month. clean your room, wash dishes,do laundry, clean the house, clean out the car, no back talking and what ever else they want to add. starting now before the concert and if you don’t keep your word you won’t say one thing. show them how much it means to you. hope this helps

  4. Lucille says:

go for an angle that they can relate to
e.g. they too were once young and probably idolized someone when they were young and then remind them that you will one day be a parent as well and understand their point of view
